As the technology advances, embedded systems become more important in daily life and different industries. Automotive industry, Automation, Internet of things, Wearables and many other trending topics are mounted on the rightuse and development of Embedded systems. But what exactly are they?

Hisland and our Embedded Systems area have developed this introductory training to bring awareness on what they are and how to handle their complexity.

 WHY THIS COURSE?

If your background is on IT, Project Management, Mechanics or any technology related area but you are not an expert, this might be interesting for you. The focus is on a general overview of the embedded systems, how they are developed, what their components are and how they interact with the real world.

With a high influence, but not specific for automotive industry, this training will guide you through the complete view from the Hardware to the SW implementation.

Understanding what is an embedded system and what is embedded SW, provides a way to handle its complexity. Many areas of engineering are applied into developing them. How do they interact? How is one affecting the other? What kind of areas of expertise are needed? This course provide an integrative point of view to understand what is the “Big Picture” of an embedded system. 

If all the Components of the Embedded system and all the Layers on the Embedded SW are known, then, it is feasible to manage and follow up complex project implementations.

Hisland Solutions tutor/ trainer is a senior Manager with more than 10 years of experience within the Automotive Sector covering in in depth knowledge of SW development, for several large companies (fortune 200 company) in different manager roles. He has held several Senior and Manager positions in the international automotive business. He is experienced as tutor covering different  leadership programs as well as attended himself, long and extensive leadership and management education programs.

TERMS REGARDING REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION AND REBOOKINGS:

Prices are excluding VAT. Registration is binding as soon as Hisland has accepted the booking and sent confirmation that the participant has been accepted to the course. If cancelled 15 days before the start of the course, the customer must reimburse Hisland Solutions with 50% of the course fee. If cancelled 14-0 days before the start of the course, the customer must reimburse Hisland Solutions with 100% of the course fee.
