New Colleague!
Hisland (Himec) Solutions is proud to announce our latest employment, Emma Blom. Emma will support our administrative team as Office Manager.
Emma has a M.A in English linguistics with focus on communication and social interactions. She has over 15 years of experience in the service business, 10 of the from the hotel business. She has worked as a front desk manager and deputy Hotel Manager. Emma’s passion for people and culture makes her a perfect fit for the role as our Office Manager.
Emma is a Gothenburg local with proud roots in Argentina. We welcome Emma to our growing family.

Hisland (Himec) Solutions has been fortunate to hire Mr. Per Eskilson as Area Manager – Energy, managing our fast-growing Energy business. He will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operational performance of the employees working across engineering, management and development consultancy.
Mr. Per Eskilson has an impressing career with over 30 years of experience in analysis and redesign of mission critical processes in many different companies and industries. This has resulted in a solid holistic understanding of how business processes are and should be defined including the ERP systems.
In his previous role as a Chief Technical Officer, he took an almost bankrupt startup with 6 employees to a highly sophisticated technical development organization, focused on Stirling based concentrated solar power system for a futuristic sustainable energy market. This also led to his promotion as Vice President, Sales & Marketing in his previous organization.
We welcome Mr. Per Eskilson to our family and wish him the best of luck and congratulate him on his success in advance!

Hisland (Himec) Solutions is proud to announce our latest employment of Rui Marques Miguel. Rui will support our development within Energy as Discipline Manager for “Process & Methods
He has long experience as Quality Manager and Project Manager in offshore oil & gas and wind energy, where he the last years have worked with one of the largest EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation) Contractors within offshore wind energy – Jan De Nul. Rui is from Portugal and have the last years lived in Norway and Belgium. He will initially work as Quality Manager for Royal IHC – IHC Dregde Equipment in the Netherlands and will in time take a more active role in developing his discipline “Process & Methods.

Hisland (Himec) Solutions is proud to announce our latest employment of Carlos Gil. Carlos will support our development in Automotive as a SW engineer within the discipline “Embedded systems”.
He has experience from working in a project for Volvo Truck Technology, automatizing inspection processes. He worked with innovative technologies such as 3D cameras, lasers, force sensors, etc… together with collaborative robots to perform the different inspections processes. Also experience from working as freelance developing programs for automatize production processes in the industry.
Carlos is originally from Malaga, Spain and has lived in Sweden for approx. 2 years. Carlos has a Bachelor of industrial engineering technology from the University of Malaga (Spain) as well as a Bachelor of automation from University of Skövde (Sweden) and but not least a Master in Robotics and Intelligent Systems from Örebro (Sweden).
We congratulate in advance Carlos to his success and welcome him to our small but growing family!

Hisland (Himec) Solutions is proud to announce our latest employment of Sergio Chico. Sergio will support our development in Automotive as Mechatronics Engineer working in the Embedded Systems discipline
Sergio recently graduated in mechatronics engineering and has done his Master Thesis in Volvo Group carrying out a very interesting project in the powertrain department. Sergio is from Madrid, Spain and has lived in Sweden for almost 1 year. He have started working with an assignment related to powertrain controls and will continue growing in that area.
